Age 86
He was born on February 21st, 1927 to Millard and Neva Bowman.
He resided in southern California during his youth and served in the Navy during WWII.
He married Carol Bourne of Ramona, CA in 1956 and had two children.
He moved to Ralston, WA in 1969 to run the Ralston General Store and post office until 1973.
He moved to Ritzville, WA and worked for the Ritzville School District as a school bus driver and a custodian for the high school.
He lived in Escondido, CA from 1981 to 1993 then moved back to Ritzville, WA until his passing.
He is survived by his wife Carol E. Bowman of Ritzville, WA; his son, Robert W. Bowman and wife, Sandy J.
Bowman; his daughter, Patricia A. Retherford and husband Terry L. Retherford.
He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Jesse Bowman of Ritzville, WA, Joshua Bowman of Spokane, WA, and Cori Retherford of San Diego, CA.
In addition, he had two great-grandchildren, Jase and Leland Bowman of Ritzville, WA.
His final place of rest will be Escondido, CA.
A private service was held in Ritzville on April 26th.
