Obituary: Gelb, Charles David

GELB, Charles David (Age 87) Passed away April 30, 2013.

He grew up on Whidbey Island and in Bellingham.

He had a Master’s in chemistry and agronomy.

After working in California he came to Spokane and operated a garden and pet store.

He started Cascade Seed Company.

His family and his wok were his passions.

He was a member of Spokane Rotary.

Chuck was an avid golfer and poker player.

His sense of humor and quick wit will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his daughters: Bonnie, Melanie and Sallie; grandson Brian; nephews, cousins and many close friends.

A Celebration of Chuck’s Life will be held at Rockwood South Community Center, 2105 South Forest Estates Drive on Sunday, May 5th at 11:30.
