Obituary: Jones, Judith Georgia
Age 75
Her parents were Kennard and Burnette Jones of Spokane.
She lived in Spokane, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Pullman.
As a youth, she enjoyed playing with her cousins in Pullman when her father was overseas in the Pacific during WWII.
She loved to read, snow and water ski, bowl, and fish.
Some of her most special times were spent at the family cabin at Priest Lake.
She loved her cats and dog, Moose, who were her constant companions.
Judy graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and attended Washington State College.
She was a dedicated loyal employee for several insurance agencies and companies in Spokane for over her 49 years in the industry and retired from Fidelity Associates in 2005.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father, aunts, uncles, Loris and Georgia Winn of Spokane, Kermit and Claudia Grimes of Portland, Kester and Dorothy Grimes of Pullman and her cousin Moffett Winn.
She is survived by her daughters, Juliette (Tom) Hungate of Pullman and Lora Lee Walter of Spokane, her grandchildren, Chris, Chad, Kelton, Nathan and Tasha along with five great-grandchildren, brothers, Barry (Carole) Jones of Spokane, Dennis (Mary Lou) Jones of Sammamish, WA and cousins Gary (Gail) Grimes of Dunee, OR, Jon and (Charlena) Grimes and David Grimes of Pullman, WA and Donald McDowell of San Diego, CA, numerous nephews, nieces and special dear friend Deanna Blair of Spokane.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11AM on Friday, May 17th at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral at 127 E. 12th Ave., Spokane, WA 99202.
