Obituary: Ott, Arthur P.

Age 96

OTT, Arthur P. (Age 96) Arthur Paul Ott, longtime resident of Stevens County, passed away at home near Chewelah on 30 April, 2013. Art was born on October 28, 1916 in Ritzville, Washington, the son of Albert and Elsie (Wellsandt) Ott. Art is survived by his five children, Curtis and Pam (McIntyre) Ott, Addy, Christine Ott-Hopkins, Bend, OR, Merrill and Anne (Daugherty) Ott, Addy, Claudia (Ott) and Ed Machtmes, Addy, and Sally (Ott) and Dusty Eckhart, Deer Park, WA. He has 12 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Elaine (Ott) Kutschkau of Kennewick and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Art is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, brother Robert Ott, and sister Mildred (Ott) Danekas. A celebration of life service will be held in the United Church of Christ, at 10 E. Webster Ave, Chewelah, WA at 11 A.M., May 11, 2013, with reception following in the fellowship hall. A private interment will be held at the family niche at Colville Cemetery.
