Pacquiao will return to ring in November

Boxing: Manny Pacquiao’s promoter says the eight-division champion will return to the ring Nov. 24, fighting Brandon Rios in a welterweight bout in Macau.

Bob Arum said Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KOs) has been focused exclusively on his political career in the Philippines since his sixth-round knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in December.

Arum’s team chose Rios (31-1-1, 23 KOs) to be Pacquiao’s next opponent because of the former lightweight champion’s brawling style, which should lead to an exciting fight.
