(Age 90)

Passed on May 4, 2013 in Spokane, WA.

He was born in Spokane on June 14, 1922, to Charles and Joyce (Brooks) McVey.

Ken is survived by his wife of 69 years, Arleen B.

(McBean) McVey; daughter, Molly McVey; sons, Kent (Pam) and Kevin (Norma) McVey; grandchildren, Patsy (Kevin) Bryant and Kent Charles (Sarah) McVey Jr.; and three great-grandchildren.

In Ken’s youth, he worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad.

He was enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946.

Ken graduated from University of Washington Dental School in 1952.

He was a member of the American Dental Society, and he was also the inventor of the E-VAC Dental Tip.

He enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and collecting model railroads.


Donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane.

A graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00pm.

A reception will follow at Luna Restaurant, 5620 S. Perry St., Spokane, WA 99223.
