Went to be with Jesus on May 3, 2013 in Spokane, WA.
She was born in Spokane on April 14, 1937, to Gladys Knapp and George Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brian.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Samuel Quigley; daughter, Brenda; half-sisters Dixie and Diane; and half-brother, Don, all of Spokane.
Darlene was a beautician for a few years before going to work at the phone company.
She retired from Pacific Northwest Bell after 26 years.
She was very involved in many activities at her church and in her community.
She hosted many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for friends and family.
She truly had a servant’s heart and did MANY kind deeds for people, often with God as a witness.
She will be missed so much by family and her many, many friends.

Services will be held at North Addison Baptist Church, 6120 N. Addison St., Spokane on Saturday, May 11 at 2:00PM.
