Obituary: Trebe, Jack Newhry

TREBE, Jack Newhry Jack-Of-All-Trades Surrounded by his loving family and friends, Jack left us to join his Heavenly Father the evening of May 8th, 2013 after battling a long illness.

Jack was born in Clarkston, WA December 3rd, 1952 to Newhry Jack Trebe and Laura Marie Noble.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and younger brother Lonnie Steven Curtis.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Cynthia (Dusti) Trebe of Spokane, sons Joshua (Emi) Trebe of Seattle, Colton Trebe of Spokane, granddaughter Mika Aria Trebe of Seattle, brothers Roger (Dianne) Bastin Spokane, Charles (Sally) Centenarie Spokane, sisters Shirley (Don) Thompson Pacific, WA, Gracie (Steve) Miller Priest River, ID, Barbie Thompson Selah, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack grew up and spent most of his life in the Spokane area.

In the 70’s Jack spent 10 years with his first wife Mary Daehnens in Kellogg, ID, working for Bunker Hill Silver Mines where he built his first home.

Moving on to separate lives Jack spent a short time in Arizona with his son Josh.

Later returning to Spokane where Jack purchased and ran The Hat Trick Tavern in Greenacres where he met and married his special love Dusti.

In Christmas 1991 he sold the Tavern where he continued the rest of his life as owner and operator of Jack-Of-All-Trades General Contractors until 2008 when he was forced to retire when diabetes and a back injury disabled him.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held Saturday, May 18th at 2 pm at the Covenant Church of Spokane located at 3506 West Princeton Ave. A potluck reception will follow in the Church reception hall.

Jack will be interred at Pines Cemetary with his mother and brother.
