Race the Joe!

What: Jet boat races on the St. Joe River near St. Maries includes a community Show & Shine and fireworks at dusk today. Saturday and Sunday will feature two days of racing from the Idaho Forest Industries Landing to the Calder Bridge and back with several race legs along the approximately 25-mile course.

Lost in the 50s

What: Vintage car parades, dances, live music, car shows, road races and more. Headliners are The Lovin’ Spoonful at the Friday Night Dance, and Sonny Turner of the Platters at the Saturday Night Dance, both at the Bonner County Fairgrounds.

When: Through Sunday. Dances tonight and Saturday will be at 7 p.m. Vintage Car Parade is at 7 p.m. today, followed by the free street dance on Main Street. Saturday car show is from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The Aspirin Rally-Run 5k Fun Run and Car Rally begins with the 5K at 10 a.m. Sunday followed at 11:30 by the car rally.
