Obituary: Boures, Ann

Age 87

BOURES, Ann (Age 87) Was born on November 4, 1925 in Calder, Saskatchewan, Canada.

She passed peacefully on May 15, 2013 in Spokane, Washington.

She greatly enjoyed her time spent with family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Ann loved flowers and gardening.

The work she did for 40 years at Playfair Race Course was very fulfilling to her.

In her earlier years she lived in Regina, Canada; where she had a fun group of friends that she enjoyed ice skating, curling, dancing, and watching hockey with.

She served in the Canadian Red Cross during WWII after which she met Harry Boures in 1957, later marrying him in 1958.

Ann is survived by her two children Debbie and Kipp Boures; grandchildren Devin and Marisa Ralston, Chelsea, Dylan, and Elliot Boures; her brothers John Peitz and Ivan Pitz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada as well as the States.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Harry; her parents Steve and Helen Pitz; siblings Rose, Mickey, Bill, Peter, Alex, and Nick.

A visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA 99205, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2013, with a funeral service to follow and interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
