Thank you, law enforcement

I would like to thank a few of our city leaders for helping to restore the public’s faith in our law enforcement system.

First, I would like to thank Mayor David Condon for the settlement of $190,000 with former Deputy Assistant Police Chief Scott Stephens. Secondly, I would like to thank Police Chief Frank Straub as well as our sheriff, Ozzie Knezovich. Their positive efforts appear to be taking effect among our citizens.

We have the potential to be the best city in the nation among cities of our size.
