Gardeners looking for good deals on plants might check out the sale the Associated Garden Clubs is holding on May 25.

The garden clubs had a large number of leftover plants from its annual sale at Manito Park in April.

The leftover plants were moved to the home of Norma Gavin, 6107 S. Madelia St., who will open her yard to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Prices will range from 50 cents to $5. The stock includes perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables and houseplants.

Many of the plants originated from production facilities at Manito Park and were given to the garden clubs to raise and sell. Proceeds will go to the organization’s efforts to beautify Spokane.
