Born in McPherson Kansas on December 6th, 1926, to Emmett and Regilia Ostlind, Keith was preceded in death by his parents and cousin Kenneth Ostlind.
He is survived by his wife, Phyrne, the love of his life for 61 years; sons Brett (Delores), Todd (Lisa), Lonn (Tara) and Lee (Stefanie); 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and sister Keigh Neithammer of Casper, Wyoming.
Keith, sister and parents moved from Kansas to Casper, Wyoming in 1941, where he graduated from Natrona County High School in 1944.
He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy from 1944-1946, and attended the Universities of Oklahoma and Wyoming.
Keith, Phyrne and sons moved to Spokane in 1966.
He worked in the electrical construction industry for his entire 48 year career as an electrician, project manager, estimator and co-owner.
Keith had an adventurous spirit and shared his love of travel, swimming and the outdoors with his family.
He was always quick to give a helping hand, and enjoyed woodworking hobbies well into his 80’s.
Keith was 32nd degree Mason.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, mischievous smile and twinkling eyes.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Jeffrey O’Connor and his staff, and Spokane Hospice for their above and beyond loving and tender care the final weeks of Keith’s life.
A memorial service is planned at the Military Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake, WA on May 23rd at 1:30 pm.
