Gonzaga, coming off its fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, will participate in its first Preseason National Invitation Tournament in November.
Ten of the 16 teams in the field, including Idaho, are coming off NCAA tournament appearances.
First-round games are set for Nov. 8. All games are hosted by participating schools and every team is guaranteed three games.
The official bracket will be announced in June.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 27-6 season in which they won their ninth consecutive West Coast Conference regular-season title.
Gonzaga will welcome back four starters and 12 letterwinners.
