Missing girl Janna Smith found safe

A 13-year-old girl who went missing after school on Wednesday was found safe this morning. Spokane Police said Janna Smith, who functions like an 8- or 9-year-old, was located at school after an extensive overnight search. She had been last seen at her home in the 2600 block of East 38th Avenue around 4:30 p.m., police said. She was located at the school around 7 a.m.
