Good reason to shuffle
In response to “Fight Your Age the Easy Way: Just Get Moving,” (May 13) by Wina Sturgeon. I would like to give my views on running to the TV and to the kitchen for coffee for the elderly.
Most of us elderly worked jobs that were very physically demanding. When we were kids we didn’t have TVs. We played outside all of the time and all of our games were very physically demanding. We didn’t have video games or computers.
Perhaps because of all the illness and surgeries we endured had something to do with our shuffling.
I hope to live to 110, so I can watch you run to the TV and the kitchen.
