Obituary: Peterson, James Addison

Age 83

PETERSON, James Addison Born October 25, 1929 in Potlatch, Idaho passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the age of 83 in Spokane, WA while surrounded by his love ones in spirit and presence.

He served our country in the Navy Reserves and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1982 after working 34.7 years as a Mechanized Cell Operator.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating with family and friends and reading the bible every morning.

Jim loved his family and friends and we all loved him, his greatest pleasure was his family and the time we spent together.

One of his famous sayings is “Lord willing and the creeks don’t rise”, always gave us a chuckle.

He is survived by Grace Myrtle Peterson, his wife of 59 years; three children, Jim of Chewelah, WA, Randy, and Kathy of Spokane, WA; seven grandchildren, Jill Peterson, Renee Gray, Sara Matava, Hans Peterson, Brook Ritter, Kim Peterson, and Lisa Peterson; along with 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date once his wife has recovered from her recent fall.
