Veterans forgotten

Wake up, America!

Where is the promise of helping all those veterans, young and old, who have put their lives on the line for all the freedoms they secure on our behalf.

Thanks a lot President Barack Obama. Another broken promise. You constantly talk about how proud you are of our men and women in uniform, yet you throw them under the bus. Great commander in chief you turned out to be.

As a concession to forces in the GOP who want to see some entitlement cuts, President Obama included a series of cuts to Social Security, disability insurance, veterans’ benefits and other programs in his proposed Fiscal Year 2014 budget.
