Parade float winner omitted
Chewelah’s “Sunken Treasures” float won the Lilac Sweepstakes Award for best overall community float in the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade on May 18. The sweepstakes winner was inadvertently omitted from a list of winning floats in the May 19 newspaper.
