Reardan Mule Days Mule Chase 5K and 10K Fun Run begins at 8 a.m. Saturday. The parade starts at 10:15 a.m., led off by the kiddie parade. The grand marshal is Leslie Lowe from KHQ-TV. After the parade, there will be a 3-on-3 basketball tournament in front of the high school; along with a kids carnival with a bouncy castle, dunk tank, fast-pitch baseball, bean bag games, pony rides and more. Spokane Wood Carvers 12th Annual Rendezvous Today and Saturday. Two days of fun, food, carving and friendship. Instructors will offer classes at minimal cost for wood. Open to all carvers from beginners to experts and to those interested in becoming carvers. A potluck will be held at 5:30 p.m. today and a barbecue at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Rockford Community Wide Yard Sale Third annual event sponsored by Rockford Community Center. Maps indicating each individual yard sale will be at each location and businesses that are open. Bay Trail Fun Run 5K or 10K The National Trails Day event runs along the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and Sand Creek and is a fundraiser for Friends of the Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail to create a public shoreline trail. Starts at 9 a.m. at Trinity at City Beach Restaurant in front of Edgewater Resort. Includes prizes for top finishers, T-shirts and giveaways. Events is free to children age 12 and younger. West Valley Community Days Carnival games, food, vendors, information booths and a bike raffle in Millwood Park. A parade will start at Trent Avenue and Boeing Road at 11 a.m. and head north on Boeing, west on Grace Avenue and north on Stout Road to the park.
