Douthitt earns support

Education policy at the local level should be exempt from the partisan warfare that has infected our national political dialogue. That is why I am writing to encourage a vote for Bob Douthitt for the Spokane School Board.

Yes, there will always be issues that wise individuals will disagree upon. It’s important, though, to have a school board member who comes to those debates with the education of our community’s children as their priority – not a preconceived political agenda.

Douthitt is accomplished in both his career and volunteerism. This achievement has earned him the support from people of all political stripes. That is why I am voting for him and encourage others to do the same.
