Obituary: Biermeyer, Ambrose C.

BIERMEYER, Ambrose C. (Age 85) Our beloved dad, grandfather and great-grandfather went home to be with our Lord October 17, 2013 and was born on November 23, 1927.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Biermeyer of 57 years.

He was the last surviving sibling of four children born to Peter and Elizabeth Biermeyer.

Ambrose was a longtime resident of Spokane Valley, WA and a devout Roman Catholic of St. John Vianney Church.

He served in the US Navy during WWII as an electrician; Ambrose then went on to work for Consolidated Freightways for 40 years where he retired in October of 1990.

After his retirement he enjoyed gardening, reading, card games, giving to the community, traveling with his wife and spending time with family.

Ambrose is survived by four daughters and their husbands: Teri (Paul) Stewart, Kathie Brereton, Trish (Ken) Tom, and Sharon (Shawn) Denny, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Many thanks go out to all who loved and cared for our father.

He will be greatly missed by many who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Mass Service and Celebration of Life reception will be held at 11 am, Saturday, November 2, 2013 and will be officiated by Father Joseph Bell at St. John Vianney, 503 North Walnut Road, Spokane Valley, WA.

Ambrose will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery.
