He was born on February 14, 1936 in Seattle, WA.
Ed served in the United States Army as a medic during the end of the Korean War.
He was a long-time resident of Spokane, was an avid hunter and enjoyed the fall season.
He retired from Qwest Communications as a power technician.
Ed is survived by his wife Jean, daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Jeff Aman, granddaughter Alexa, brother Robert Shepard, and children Thomas, Scott and Shawn from a previous marriage.
He is preceded in death by his father Glen, step-mother Mildred, mother Marjorie and step-sister Patricia.
