Bob was born in Spokane, WA, on June 24, 1926, the eldest child of Fred and Ann (Roberg) Storms.
Bob attended Gonzaga Prep High School and joined the Navy in 1944 to serve his country in World War II.
He was proud to be invited to Washington DC earlier this year as a guest of the Honor Flight Program.
Bob married Audree (Smith) June 4th 1947 and together they raised a family of 5 sons and two daughters.
Bob enjoyed a long a successful career in banking and real estate appraising.
He enjoyed fishing, was an excellent bridge player and was a life long golfer.
He shared his passion for golf with his family and played with them until his passing.
Bob is survived by his companion of many years, Marge Hogan, his children Don Storms, Tom Storms, Joe Storms, Ted Storms, Marilyn Kempter, Laura Amonson, brother, Mike Storms, Sisters, Sr Donna Storms and Sr Jeanne Storms of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, and many loving grand children, great grand children, nieces and nephews in a large extended family.
Bob was a loving father, companion, grandfather and friend to all.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, son, Douglas, Brother, Bill Storms and Sisters, Rita Oien and Marge McKee.
His service will be held at St. Mary of the Rosary Catholic Church, 502 E. Main, Chewelah, WA on Saturday, November 9th, 2013, at 10:00 am.
