Saints sit in 1st place in Frontier

Dakota Stonehouse threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Carroll (8-1, 7-1) took over sole possession of first place in the Frontier Conference with a 48-30 win over Southern Oregon (6-3, 6-2) on Saturday in Helena.

Central Washington 21, Humboldt State 14: Redshirt freshman Jake Nelson threw for 172 yards and the Wildcats (6-3, 6-2) locked down defensively in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference win over the Lumberjacks (0-9, 0-8) in Ellensburg, Wash.

Pacific Lutheran 41, Puget Sound 21: Dalton Ritchey ran for three second-half touchdowns to guide the Lutes (7-1, 4-1) past the Loggers (1-6, 0-4) in a Northwest Conference game in Puyallup, Wash.
