Souza blocks the steamroller

When you think about it, Woody McEvers is the sole remaining reason for the stressful negative feelings our community has been going through for the past few years. If he had been the good ol’ boy we all thought he was, and had represented the common fellow like we all thought he would, none of this negative mess would have happened. We, the common people, would have had the final say about McEuen Field.

Woody has not represented us, and deserves to be replaced.

Negativity? Steve Widmyer’s four friends on the current Coeur d’Alene City Council brought all this negativity upon us by refusing a simple advisory vote, and now they have picked him to carry on. Enough said.

Mary Souza, on the other hand, has done nothing other than respond to this steamroller administration of four. She is a positive, intelligent, responsive person who has stuck her neck out for all of us. Thank goodness. I believe that Souza shares the facts, and that they are very negative. Thus her opponents cry, “Negative!” Strange, isn’t it, the way things get twisted around?

We must not turn our city over to more of the same. Vote Mary Souza for mayor.
