Obituary: Newman, Lamont Keith
Age 63
UT, passed on October 16, 2013 in Spokane, WA after a long battle with brain cancer.
LaMont fought this battle with humor and dignity.
He enjoyed spending time with his large immediate and extended families.
He attended S.C.C.
and enjoyed a long career as a computer programmer on the old main frame computers.
LaMont loved being a Dad and enjoyed sailing, wood working, traveling and gadgets.
He spent the last year being cared for by his daughter Melanie, her husband Alan and their children Geneve and Dexter.
His family appreciates the love and care Melanie’s family provided for this much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his children LaMont Keith Newman Jr and his wife Vanessa, Daniel Newman and his wife Sarah, Melanie Profitt and her husband Alan, Renee Newman, Tracy Newman and his beloved grandchildren Geneve, Dexter, Hailey and Indiana.
Also by his numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He passed away comfortably at home with the support of Hospice of Spokane.
There will be a Celebration of Life in his honor held Saturday, November, 9th at the Inland North West Wild Life Counsel Building, 6116 N. Market St., Spokane, WA 99208 6pm-10pm.
