Obituary: Russell, Ronald Paul “Ron”
RUSSELL, Ronald Paul “Ron” Was born March 13, 1944 to Lloyd and Marjorie Russell in St. Maries, Idaho. He passed away on November 1, 2013 with his wife by his side. He is survived by Nancy (Graham) his wife of 47 years. He is also survived by daughters Julie (David) Becker, and Jan Vig; grandchildren Christopher (Charli) Sanders, Kelsey Sanders, Taylor Johnston, Cassidy Johnston, Aaron Johnston and Andrew Johnston. Also sister Janice (Bud) McCall, and brother Richard (Judy) Russell. He is also survived by his mother Marjorie Russell. He was welcomed in to Heaven by his father Lloyd Russell who has been waiting for him. Ron moved to Spokane in 1960 and graduated from Rogers High School in 1962. Ron was employed with Kaman Industrial Technologies for 35 years where he made many lasting friendships. After retirement he enjoyed being a volunteer delivering Meals on Wheels to the elderly. The family wishes to thank the staff at Regency and Northpoint Rehabilitation Center for his care and friends, family and neighbors for their love and support. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial donation to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, 1004 E. 8th., Spokane, WA 99202, or a charity of their choice. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 9th at Fairmount Memorial Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave. at 2 pm.
