WSU linebacker Su’a arrested

PULLMAN – Linebacker Chester Su’a of the Washington State football team has been arrested for failing to appear for a hearing regarding a charge of driving without a license.

Su’a was arrested on Thursday after judge Douglas Robinson of the Whitman County District Court issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday, according to patrol sergeant Dan Dornes of the Pullman Police Department.

Bail was set at $1,050.

Su’a was also arrested a year ago for failing to appear at a hearing following a hit-and-run charge. A spokesperson for the school said that the team would neither confirm nor deny knowledge of the incident, but that all such circumstances would be handled internally by the team. The spokesperson did confirm that Su’a remains a member of the WSU football team.
