Dolores was born July 20, 1947, in San Francisco, California, to Thomas Howard and Dolores Agnes Henderson.
She graduated from Lakes High School (Lakewood, WA) in 1965 and from Washington State University in 1969.
She went on to earn her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Idaho.
Those who worked closely with Dolores will remember her for her professional integrity, collegial support, loyalty, and genuine caring.
To her friends and family, Dolores was a source of love and strength.
At times she seemed to know us better than we knew ourselves and always encouraged those she loved to strive for our highest potential.
We admired her intelligence, curiosity, compassion, and generosity, often looking to her for guidance and inspiration.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 21 years, Kenneth Salesky, of Garfield, WA; her children, Kristen Miller, Eric Carter, Nick Salesky, Tiffany Salesky, and Mac Salesky; her mother, Dolores Bloch; and her brothers, Paul and Mark Henderson.
While she loved us all, her grandchildren, Carter and Anna Miller, Cricket Carter, and Niko and Nate Salesky held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Dale C. Henderson.
Dolores, thank you for being our daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and colleague.
We were blessed to have had you and you are missed more than you can imagine.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Jackson Oncology and the in-patient cancer wing of Baptist Medical Center for the wonderful care provided.
