Plan for council prayers
I understand that the U.S. Supreme Court heard a case about a single individual objecting to a city council starting off the meeting with a prayer. This tyrannical opposition by one individual not wanting to listen to a city councilman starting the meeting with an invocation is absurd.
The apparent fear is that it constitutes government advocating religion. All the tyrannical minority has to do is show up 60 seconds late to the meeting. Allow the majority to pray for guidance then start the meeting. The majority has its way the minority is not offended and civility prevails.
