His body gave up its fight and joined his spirit in heaven on November 7th.
He was born on August 5, 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Spokane.
He attended Linwood Elementary School, Salk Middle School, and North Central High School.
He leaves behind his wife Tori and three loving daughters KiArra (14), DeLaney (12) and Ali Hilzendeger (19) as well as his mother Jeanette Bullis of Spokane and his sister Jeanelle (Tom) Meintz of Seattle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon and both sets of grandparents.
He was an instant friend to anyone who was blessed to meet him.
He enjoyed supporting his daughters at sporting events and school activities.
His hobbies included playing pool, working on Pontiacs (He usually supervised while his buddy Gary Nestor did the work!
), riding his Harley, and catching up with his large extended family.
He was a HUGE Seattle Seahawks fan since they joined the NFL in 1976—even in their awful years and he could spout out stats and player information like nobody’s business.
He worked for ASC Machine Tools Inc. for 20+ years was a member of the Local 86 Machinist’s Union.
He was most recently working at Triumph Composite Systems Inc. for the last few years and was enjoying learning a new field and meeting so many great folks.
A memorial service and celebration of his wonderful life is going to be held on Sunday November 17th, 2pm at Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Guests are asked to dress casually (jeans, t-shirts/sweatshirts and/or Seahawks attire).
Also please bring written memories to be deposited into a memory box for his family to cherish for years to come.
In lieu of flowers, a fund is being set up at the church for the children.
