Overview: The Big Sky’s top offense – EWU – faces the No.1 defense in a game that could see the Eagles clinch at least a tie for the conference title. The Eagles are 6-0 in the Sky for the first time, thanks mostly to an offense that is averaging 544 yards per game and 7.9 yards per play (in conference play). The Mustangs counter with a defense that’s giving up just 308 yards and 15.8 points per game. On the other side of the ball, Cal Poly boasts the leading ground game in FCS; its triple option averages 363 yards.

Overview: The Pirates are seeking to both win their final game of the year and earn coach John Tully his 100th victory as coach in his 19th season guiding Whitworth. The Pioneers are led by senior quarterback Keith Welch, who leads the Northwest Conference in passing yards (2,407) and passing touchdowns (24). Welch has also run for 391 yards and six scores. Whitworth will be led by junior quarterback Bryan Peterson, who guided the Pirates in a tough 28-21 loss last week against Pacific Lutheran.
