Improvements misplaced

I have happily voted for all street repaving improvements in the past 40 years. However, I was completely unaware that would mean a 6-foot sidewalk, bike and running lanes and no street parking on my street. We do need repaving, including 33rd Avenue in front of Sacajawea Middle School.

The real need for sidewalks and bike/running lanes is along Cedar Road: from Country Homes Boulevard to Panorama Drive.

I would hope that the city engineers will take another look at the real needs for sidewalks and bike/running lanes that are far more important than ours. I thank them for their interest.
