Signs removed swiftly

Even though I am also an elected public official, I have always been offended by the number of campaign signs that litter our landscape in the months and weeks prior to Election Day. This year, however, I was most impressed with the efficiency and expediency in which the signs were removed. With minimal exception, the signs were all removed within one or two days of the election.

Kudos to those candidates who were so considerate as to remove their signs in such a timely fashion. My personal thanks to them all.

Joe Dawson, Commissioner

Spokane Valley Fire Department
