She was born on September 26, 1914 to Clearance and Nellie (Ledbetter) Shindler on the Shindler farm west of Rosalia, WA on the Malden Road.
Evelyn was the middle child of seven.
Evelyn was married to Harold “Al” Albert Morgan in Steptoe, WA in 1935 by Rev.
She was a member of the American Legion and Rosalia Gifted Granny’s.
Evelyn worked for Rosalia Hardware, Like’s Cafe, and retired from Rosalia State Liquor store where she worked for 10 years.
Evelyn enjoyed the phone calls and visits of family and friends.
She enjoyed all the classmates of son Ralph (had Muscular Dystrophy) visiting him in their home and including him in their class and fun activities.
She is survived by her sons, Harold “Pete” Morgan of Rosalia and Robert Morgan of North Carolina; brothers, Ralph Shindler (Jayne) of North Carolina and Don Shindler of California; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Al and son Ralph, and her siblings, Roy Shindler, Max Shindler, Mildred Milner, and Clarice Holmes.
