RAMBOW, Donnie Katherine (Age 88) Crossed into eternity on November 4, 2013.

Her husband of 62 years, Norman, preceded her in death.

She was born to Charles and Ethel in Corydon, Indiana.

During WWII, she moved to Louisville, Kentucky, and worked at Reynolds Metals Company and Curtis Wright Corporation.

She met her husband-to-be, on a street corner watching a military parade.

It was meant-to-be, as they married early in 1944.

In 1954 they moved to Waitts Lake, WA., to operate the Winona Beach Resort, followed by a move to Ritzville, WA, in 1967.

Over 38 years, they operated a gas station, VW repair shop, muffler shop and an apartment house.

Donnie belonged to a number of clubs and served many years on the Ritzville Planning Commission.

She was a member of the ritzville Trinity Methodist Church and served in many positions.

She loved her flowers, garden and belonged many years to the Ritzville Ho-n-Grow garden club.

For the past four years she resided at the Orchard Crest Retirement Community, in Spokane Valley.

She is survived by four children, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at the Berean Bible Church in Spokane, in the Spring of 2014, to celebrate the lives of Donnie and Norm Rambow.
