“Inspecting Carol” - Through Nov. 24. SFCC Revelers present the story of a struggling theater company’s attempt to pull off “A Christmas Carol” in this farce. Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Today’s matinee is a benefit for the SFCC food bank and nonperishable food items will be collected in exchange for $1 admission. Christmas Tree Elegance 2013 - 31st annual fundraiser to benefit Spokane Symphony. Peace on Earth - A Christmas Luncheon - Feast on scrumptious salad, glazed ham, scalloped potatoes, and organic green beans accompanied by bread and butter. For dessert, Royal Plaza will provide its famous Christmas cupcakes, served by employees of the Spokane Teachers Credit Union. Liberty Lake Holiday Ball - An elegant evening with a champagne reception, three-course dinner, silent and live auctions and live music with dancing. The event is the sole fundraiser for Friends of Pavillion Park, a nonprofit group that sponsors a free summer concert series, movies in the park, scholarships, an annual fun run, the Labor Day weekend Spokane Symphony concert and Shakespeare in the Park.
