Obituary: Morris-Jones, Warna Rae

Age 78

MORRIS-JONES, Warna Rae (Age 78) Passed away Monday November 11, 2013.

She was born to the late Warren and Alice Morris on December 10, 1934, and graduated from Colfax High School in 1953.

She married Collin Jones in 1989 and they lived together in Spokane Wa.

Warna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She loved spending time with her family and friends and anyone who came in contact with her could feel her love and compassion.

She had a great love for animals and donated money to the Humane Society for their well being.

Warna is survived by her husband of 24 years Collin Jones, five children: Ronna Kilgore and Scott Moore who both live in Spokane, Serena Melchor (Nelson) and Shamane Vargas (Jose) both in Las Vegas NV, Jason Jones in Hawaii, and one grand daughter, Alisha Kilgore who also lives in Spokane.

She is also survived by her brother Howard Morris (Pat) in Hooper Wa, her sister Nancy Morris (Alan) of Seattle Wa, and numerous nieces, nephew’s, cousins and friends.

Our family would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Darren Hollenbaugh and his staff for the exceptional care they provided Warna over the years.

She always spoke very highly of them and we appreciate their care.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society or the Union Gospel Mission.

Warna’s desire was to be buried with her father in St John Washington.

Rest in peace Warna, you are forever loved and will be greatly missed!
