Vacant Spokane Valley home burglarized second time this month

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies responded to a copper theft at the same home hit by copper thieves earlier this month. The burglar or burglars removed $750 in copper pipe from appliances and inside the walls of the foreclosed home, located near the 3000 block of North Edgerton Road, according to a news release. Repairs are estimated at $750, according to the release. Deputies responded to another burglary at the home on Nov. 7, where an estimated $5,000 in copper wire and pipe were stolen. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone providing information leading to an arrest in the burglars. People with information should call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or post it to www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. Tipsters don’t have to give their name to collect the cash reward.
