From staff reports
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man they say robbed a Spokane Valley gas station with a rifle Wednesday. A surveillance photo released by the Sheriff’s Office shows the white man, clad in jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with a bandanna obscuring his face, standing just inside the front doors of the Zip Trip at 8215 E. Trent Ave. on Wednesday night. The man approached a clerk, pointed a rifle at him and demanded money around 9 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office. He fled the store on foot headed east, and a police dog was unable to track his escape. The Sheriff’s Office is offering a cash reward for tips leading to an arrest in the case. Those with information are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submit a tip online.
