Authors Lisa Borders and Ron MacLean - Reading, discussion and book signing by Lisa Borders and Ron MacLean. In Borders’ novel, “The Fifty-First State,” Hallie Corson leaves her New York photographer’s life behind to return to her South Jersey hometown to care for her long-estranged brother. MacLean presents “Headlong,” the story of Nick Young, a washed-up journalist who goes back to Boston to care for his dying father. To solve a mystery before the police do, he’ll have to connect the dots between a major labor strike, a violent Occupy-style movement, and a murder. Tuesday, 7 p.m., Auntie’s Bookstore, 402 W.
