Obituary: Connolly, Lucille B.

CONNOLLY, Lucille B. April 11, 1933 - November 19, 2013 Lucille was born in Mandan, ND to Joseph and Katherine Hoffman.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Willard.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Smith of Missoula, MT; son Bruce Hurlbert of Missoula, MT; Wayne (Vicki) Hurlbert of Emporia, KS; daughter Donna (Darol) Rang of Clinton, MT; daughter Vickie (Jess) Schloss of Spokane; daughter Kari (Michael ) Cardina of Eastampton, NJ; son Paul Connolly of Spokane.

Also eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Lucille moved with her parents from Mandan to Glendive, MT in 1943.

She met Willard as a teenager and they later married in 1963.

In 1964 the family moved to Missoula, MT.

They retired to Spokane in 1986.

In 1996 they moved to Bullhead City, AZ but returned to Spokane in 2004.

Lucille was many things, a chef, business owner, and bookkeeper for the family construction company.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, quilting, crocheting and gardening.

She had a green thumb that was envied and enjoyed by all.

She will be interred on Tuesday, November 26, at 10:30 a.m, at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, with Willard.
