Obituary: Petersen, Catherine Frances “Kay”
Age 90
PETERSEN, Catherine Frances “Kay” January 9, 1923 November 16, 2013 Born and raised in Mandan, North Dakota, Kay moved to Spokane in 1970 where she married Marvin E. Petersen of 43 years.
Kay retired from the Ridpath Hotel as a banquet waitress.
She was always genereous with her passion, which was baking.
Spokane Valley was quite familiar with trying her “Peanut Butter Balls”.
She enjoyed fishing, traveling and feeding the birds on her patio, as well as spending time with family and friends.
A very strong willed and determined lady of life.

Survived by husband Marvin; seven children; fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held: November 30th, 10:00AM, at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd.
