Man in critical condition following crash

From staff reports
A 50-year-old man is in critical condition at a Spokane hospital after his car hit a wall under an overpass in Spokane Valley on Sunday night. Spokane County sheriff’s deputies suspect the man had been drinking, a news release said. Deputies responded around 9 p.m. to the collision on Argonne Road just south of Trent Avenue. Witnesses said the man was driving south when his car jumped the center median and hit the wall underneath the train overpass on the east side of the road, the release said. The man was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown partially out of the front windshield, the release said.
