Obituary: Dunn, Mary Jean

DUNN, Mary Jean “Jeannie” March 22, 1947 - November 16, 2013 Jeannie was born to Bob and Lois Schuelke in Spokane, WA and was later adopted by her stepfather, Ted Lowe.

She was a life- time resident of the Spokane area, graduating from Lewis & Clark High School and working for a time at the Old State Theater.

On November 19, 1966 she married the love of her life, Jim Dunn, with whom she had two daughters, Michelle and Heidi.

Jeannie’s favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, serving God and His church, and reading books.

She worked for, and retired from, Bank of America, and was a longtime member of Starr Road Baptist Church.

Everyone who knew her was touched by her selflessness and genuine Christian goodness.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Ted Lowe, her grandparents, and a granddaughter.

Mourning her loss are her husband of 47 years, her daughters; her sisters, Sherie Lowe of Spokane, Nancy Tibbits of Spokane, Pam Lowe of Tacoma, Patty Campbell of Modesto, CA and her brother, Robert Schuelke of Nebraska.

Jeannie also leaves behind her father and stepmother, Bob and Donna Schuelke, of Modesto, CA; five grandchildren, two great- granddaughters, numerous other family members and a great many friends.

Truly, Heaven’s gain is the world’s loss.

The Neptune Society is in charge of cremation.

There will be a service to honor her on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Word of Life Community Church, 6703 N. Idaho Rd., Newman Lake, WA at 10:00a.m.

Starr Road Baptist Church will host a fellowship following the service, 4720 N. Starr Road, Otis Orchards, WA.
