Obituary: Milton, Carl W.

MILTON, Carl W. Was born in Chicago, Ill on October 26, 1929.

He graduated from Crete High School 1947; WSC 1951; and married Connie Mack the same day he graduated from the Air Force Navigator School in 1953.

He served in the Air Force until 1956 and then the Air National Guard until 1968.

He furthered his education at both Rutgers and Harvard, earning his Masters in the teaching of Physics, which he taught at LC from 1957 to 1982, excepting 1968-69 when he taught as an exchange teacher in Australia.

In 1988-89 he and Connie taught English in China.

Throughout his years in Spokane, Carl served with/for: Interfaith Hospitality Network, The Spokane Council of Ecumenical Ministries and the Fig Tree; FEMA, The MLK Jr. Center; PJALS; and was an active member of Manito United Methodist Church.

A Celebration of Carl’s Life is scheduled for Saturday, November 30th at 2pm at Rockwood Retirement Center, 2903 E. 25th Ave., Spokane, WA.
