Obituary: Vanderhoef, Betty J.

Was born on August 26, 1935 in Tensed, Idaho and passed away at home on November 23, 2013 in the presence of immediate family.

She met her husband of 60 years, Doran W. Vanderhoef in Blue Lake, California.

They were married on September 24, 1953 in Walla Walla, WA.

They raised their three children in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Betty enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and being with her family.

She also enjoyed raising Boston Terriers with her husband.

Betty is preceded in death by her daughter Vanita G. Vanderhoef.

She is survived by her husband Doran, two sons, Vernon and his wife Candace, David and his wife Heidi, sister Sharon Spencer, brother Eugene (Gene) Regjovich, three grandchildren; Nathan, Cassandra, Dimitri and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 29th at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue in Coeur d’ Alene at 4 pm.
