SEATTLE – A 25-year-old man in a stolen car crashed into another vehicle with a family of four inside, according to Seattle police.
A man in south Seattle was warming up his car Thursday evening when another man jumped inside, police said. The car owner had left a gun inside the vehicle and the suspect found it, threatening the car owner with the weapon. The car thief drove off with the owner chasing after him in another car, police said.
Soon after that, a police cruiser began following the suspect and that’s when he crossed into an intersection and crashed into a vehicle carrying the family of four.
The father in the car was trapped inside and had to be freed.
