Obituary: Sams, Angela Kim
Age 27
Angela was born to Robert “Bobby” Sams and Haeng Cha Kim in Madrid, Spain on January 23, 1986.
She graduated from Cheney High School in 2007 later studying computers at Centerpointe.
Angela loved shopping at the Bon Marche and Claire’s.
Getting her hair and nails done was one of her favorite things.
She loved sailing, boating, rafting, and biking.
Angela loved to travel, whether it was to Europe or just a road trip to Sandpoint or Coeur d’Alene.
She enjoyed listening to music and playing videogames.
Simply spending time at Northtown Mall, Riverpark Square Imax, or the STA Plaza brought her great joy.
She was fascinated by Sonic car-hops and enjoyed drive-thru coffee stands.
Between 1997 and 2001, after an open-heart surgery, Angela and her father climbed Mt.
Spokane as part of the initiative to support pediatric heart health.
She was a member of the Washington State Special Olympics and the Airway Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Inurnment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA, on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:30 a.m.
